sjj31a Posted June 27, 2009 Share Posted June 27, 2009 This is in my personal install, which makes it even more disturbing! I have about 70 switches and dimmers. All work flawlessly except for one. It is a switch on a fluorescent light in my daughters bathroom. I have reset the switch, re-identified, and even replaced several times all with the same result. Essentially the switch appears to "fall asleep" that is if I issue a command from the remote to turn on and it has been over 30 minutes or so since last turn on or off it won't turn on. However, if I hit the on OR off button then send the command it works fine until it falls asleep again. I have never seen this type of problem before and it just bugs me. I am considering ripping out the fixture and putting in a regular bulb. Has anyone seen this type of behavior (and yes it is a switch I am using not a dimmer) with a fluorescent light? Any solutions?
