C4, Plastique?
Has anyone had success using the internal Russound Tuner? I have it installed on 3 systems yet have had no luck determining the best way to pass FM or AM coding to it. I am using the CAV 6.6 serial RS232 driver and it works quite well integrating all functions into the C4 system, but the tuner is kind of a mystery. Should I be using the ST2 AMFM tuner and calling it an Auxilary Input and then putting an IR emitter onto the back of the CAM's training IR for command codes? Or is there a serial command set for AM/FM manipulation that is out there with an integrated CAM 6.6 serial driver? Thanks!Whoops, posted in Help area first... capww8
In my experience, legacy russound equipment CAM/CAV works as matrix switch / amp units, but the sources are completely useless. You don't have 2-way control of the tuners (or their media manager) so it's better to just ignore it and use an outboard tuner that you can control.
