EVEc4 Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 I am new to Control4 and need some help. I am running 1.8 on my controller and want to add a motion sensor. The motion sensor I have needs to be updated to be able to work. I have added it to my system design and cannot identify it and don't know what to do next. henniae Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 What type of motion sensor are you using?Is this a CardAccess motion sensor? If it is a CardAccess motion then it needs to be a ZigBee Pro version. The older CA motion sensors are not ZigBee Pro compatible. There is no way to do a software upgrade on the older CA motion sensor it needs a hardware replacement.CardAccess has a trade in program that dealers can use to get a hardware replacement. CardAccess sent out an email to CardAccess dealers about the trade in program. You could contact CardAccess for additional information on the trade in program. ;-)You could also call C4 tech support.
