mthomtech
I have a switch installed to turn some outlets on and off for holiday lights. I've not used it, but plan to this season. From the specs, it looks like I've had the wrong thing put in. Originally I just thought, why would I need a dimmer on Christmas lights, so I opted for the switch.I'm expecting to put near the max load of 1000 W.Am I understanding it correctly that I shouldn't use a switch in the setup, since the Christmas lights are incandescent?Any ideas or alternatives for controlling Christmas lights. I liked the control4 option, since I put outlets up under the roof ... timers probably wouldn't be that easy to put up there.
ELECTRICDON
Either the switch or dimmer will work upto 1000watts. If you use LED lights, use the reverse phase dimmer, but only @ 600w. You can set any of these up in a schedule using C4.Cheers.
