drallgood Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 I have a Control-4 SR-250 remote that controls with my HC300 unit, Yesterday of all days (Turkey Day) I had a bunch of friends and family over and somehoow my system got all out of tune. When i press the 4 button on the remote it would normally go to the main control 4 screen that allows me to pick what I would like to do. But now when I press the control 4 button all that happens is that it activates my Screen saver that has a bunch of cover art for my 400 dvd disc changer. It will not allow me back to the main menu to select anything. its like its locked on screen saver mode. I have tried unplugging the control 4, tried replacing the batteries. I looked in director but nothing looks like it makes sence to me so I am at a standstill. I am no programmer so I am lost. Any help for a new owner would be great. pharmdsmith Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Try pressing the control4 button twice. Sometimes when the screensaver is activated it takes two presses.
