superchief Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 I only see an old thread on KNX keypads with C4 - can anyone with direct experience integrating KNX with c4 comment on the state of this integration in 2023? In particular how much complexity is added to the implementation and programming by using Basalte with C4 via the KNX Routing Driver, what reliability and support issues you have seen, and whether integration with Josh.ai would be impacted? Would also be looking to integrate Basalte thermostats (which are just temperature sensors and setpoint control) and video doorbell but as they are KNX devices I would expect the issues are the same. This is for the US market in case that changes support issues, I know KNX is much bigger overseas. Quote
SmartEngineer Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Integration is Excellent. Don’t think along the lines of using KNX keypads to do Control4 functions. Instead use KNX to control the environment then use Control4 to provide visualisation for KNX. This is the best way. Quote
