AS2
I have a client with a pre-run proprietary cable for a Pioneer Plasma HD display. He has changed his mind and wants another TV - one of those two proprietary cables looks an awful lot like a DVI cable - is there an adaptor to use it as one? ATOH
It is a DVI cable. The other one is for control of the display from the media receiver.
AS2
but the pins are slightly different, not quite the same a standard DVI cable - perhaps just a few more pins in there. think it'll work?
ATOH
My understanding was that it was a DVI cable and would work as an individual. Maybe I'm too familiar with the Key Digital cables and never paid attention to the short ones that come with the set itself. :-) I'd still try it, I bet it works. Let us know! bullgates
I realize that this thread is old but updating never hurts. Here is a nice link that shows different DVI connections and gives explanations:http://www.cablestogo.com/resources/dvi.asp
