waynechi
I am using a network storage device (my home PC) instead of the media controller drive to store my digital audio. I am using the same digital music folder on my C: drive that I have used in the past for iTunes and for Tivo Home Media option. All the files in here are .mp3 format. I have noticed that composer does always not cluster tracks from the same album into a common album file. For example, if an album has 12 tracks, when I try to browse the album using the C4 interface it shows up as 12 different albums each containing one track. This is a problem especially when media composer doesnt recognize a tag at first and I need to use the AMG scan service to find a new tags.At best this glitch makes using the network storage a pain. At worst it makes it practically unusable. Has anyone else run into this issue and found a solution?
Uncle Skippy
When I have this happen I just open up composer and drag the songs into the correct album manually. It only takes a few minutes to fix a large collection this way and you will only have to fix each one once.
