Khoi
We are installing a Denon AVR 887, it is a 7.1-Channel HDMI Receiver. The Main room has a 5.1 surround sound system and the other two speakers are installed in another area, for the zone two feature. I am just wondering is it beyond the capabilities of the control 4 to seperatly control the speakers in the other room? I know if we install a Speaker Point or a MiniTouch it would solve our issue.I was messing around with the reciever audio end-points to the other room but no luck. Thanks agian,Khoi oh yea we are using an htc
DannyMac
Sure you can do this, treat zone 2 as a seperate amplifier and write the drivers for zone 2 seperatly,if controlled by IR you can control 'both amps' from the same IR port.Or control zone 1 with rs232 and zone 2 with IR.This in effect is tricking the software, im sure there is a different way to do it but this works for me. Khoi
I figured it out.I just created custom buttons, and assign the right IR codes to the buttons. Thanks Danny anyways, I will try that next time.
