kramerico
I am considering buying an HTC and would like to know if there is a way to replace the stock remote with an MX-3000 or similar? Is there a way to copy the I.R. codes?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. http://www.universalremote.com/product_detail.php?model=
lvs
HTC communicates with remote via Zigbee RF. No IR support at least yet, that I am aware of.
slemay
Actually - starting with v1.3 of the Composer software, it does now support being controlled by IR if you choose. But why would you want to? I've used the MX-3000 and would still choose the C4 remote over it. BUT - if you really want to use the MX-3000 - you can.
lvs
Dang, sorry about the misinformation. I thought this was still down the road... Thanks for clearing that up slemay.
slemay
Mind you - the C4 system still communicated 100% with itself via Zigbee... but starting with 1.3 it opened up the option to allow 3rd party products to talk with it via IR.
