gatormike
I have an eight zone amp/matrix, but have 12 zones of audio needed. I don't mind if some rooms are playing the same source. What would be the best way to get all zones usable without having to get another amp/matrix??Thanks
nikon
You could start combining zones if that would work for you.
gatormike
Would I need special equipment or can I place more than 1 room on the amp output??
nikon
You can just bridge the connections on 2 areas of speakers creating a single zone. I am assuming that you have 2 speakers in each of your current zones @ 8 ohms which will create a 4 ohm load bridged. So no extra equipment is necessary, you are just just as you said combining 2 rooms onto 1 audio zone.

arboleda
Slightly related: are the C4 amps known to be OK with 4-ohm loads? I had considered hooking up a pair of 4-ohm speakers to an unused zone on my amps.
