typhoonlou
Im having trouble "linking," controllers. I cant get my home theater controller upstairs to properly communicate with my media controller downstairs i.e. streaming music. It dosent seem to link to the rest of the system. One thing I think could be the problem is that im using a wireless gaming adapter to connect to my wired router by the media controller, could that be it? Please advise. Thank you. danlevine
It's possible. Depending on the network. Are you having trouble identiying it on the system or using it after it's been identified. Try plugging a laptop into the gaming adapter and make sure it gets an IP on the same network and subnet.
typhoonlou
Its identified, and I can see it in composer. I cant access the music from the other media controller, and the remotes always freeze on both controllers for no apparent reason. Thanks for your help. Khoi
Those Linksys wireless game adapters are junk. Use a Powerline Adapter, works much better.
