  1. I updated the system to 2.10.6.  I believe i have solved the issue. I remove the network connection from one switch to another and now all music sources come on instantly.

I have discovered another issue that I will post in another thread. One room, the playroom will not comply to the volume rule. I have enabled the default volume for audio, and set this default level to 30 but every time I turn on music for the room, the volume begins at 50.  strange.

  2. Thanks for the reply Mujtaba.khokhar.  To answer your question my network is pretty basic. I have a single router, Asus RT-AC88U all settings at default.  The remaining actions in Control4 seem to run fine without any delay, quick response actually on any execution such as turning on TV, video source, lights on/off etc.  The only issue i have is the music execution. I have updated the controller to the latest update. The music now takes 15 seconds to come on.  One more thing to note, once the music is initiated and running all is normal. When I add a room to the music selection already running, the music comes on instantly.   Thanks again.

  3. I have a EA-5 controller with a the director version of 2.10.2.549842-res. Here is the concern/problem. The room is powered off, I pick up the remote and select "Listen>Pandora>Favorite Station. I do not hear any sound from the speakers for at least 30 seconds. This same scenario occurs in every room, selecting any source of music. I have selected Pandora, My Music via USB on the controller and Sonos (Pandora & music files) same result no matter what. Also, the output dose not seem to make a difference either. I have an Onkyo amp for the great room and a Control4 audio matrix switcher and Control4 amp.for the rest of the house. Any room, any source any output - 30 second delay, then I hear the sound.

Question: Is this normal operation for Control4? If so, is there a setting that I can change to correct this obstacle? If not normal, what could be failing, controller or amp, switch?

Thanks for reading and for any suggestions you may have.
