That’s what I suspect.  My dealer, who is terrific,  told me to check next time to see if I can control from the Sonos app when I can’t control from c4…. Smart to test that.  

Yes I rebooted tv and Sonos at its<location, not the C4 controller.  I did reboot the Halo remote as well.   I checked to be sure my Sonos were showing up as wired on my network not wireless, and they did.   A mystery so far….  Has been stable a few days. 

I run sonos arc and speakers as my tv audio.  Yesterday all sets experienced loss of volume control  from my Halo remotes.   Audio was stuck on whatever level… Had to reboot all…. Then still some intermittent loss…. Now works.   Was there an update?  New driver? Anyone know? Thanks.

Ooooh yes! How could I have not thought of that one. Thanks for pointing out.   I was doing one for each window tather than just a window open template and changing the subject or message.   Thanks!

is there a way to copy email notifications?   i am creating alerts when windows open/close in different rooms...  there are many... and i have to create a new email each time...  is there anyway to copy/paste so i can jus change a word or two?    thanks 

Thanks! I  have the same build version.    I solved when I found the app data file and deleted it…. Plus a whole mess of junk associated with older updates…

FIXED!   The darn app data file.  Lotta stress over this one.  Thanks all!

Still having this problem….  Upgraded C4 to 3.4 today and HE no longer connects.   Uninstalled. Installed. Now 3.4.1. 706039-res HE running…. No connection.  Any help appreciated.  Seems like this thread has been inactive for a few months. 

Updated C4 today 3.4.1 and now cant connect Composer HE.  says could not connect to director    I updated. I uninstalled and reinstalled.  Rebooted.   Installer can connect thru express and composer/. I could connect prior to the upgrade...   any suggestions welcome!  Thanks 

That would be ideal. I will try that first.   The comms between the app and C4 seem pretty good….

Yes I guess I have to make a condition to run the event only if sensor is closed.   And then set up in C4 rather than PowerView. ???

I have HD PowerView gen 3. It’s great.  I run from the HD app using schedules.   Now  I need to install window sensors so the shades don’t close when windows are open.  Creates problems. I don’t think there is a way to do this on HD app, so I must program in C4 which defeats purpose of their handy app.  Any ideas????

Anyone using Axxess wireless contact sensors. I have windows I want to monitor and the C4 sensors are big and noticeable.  … these Axxess look better and indicates  they have a driver. Anyone use?  Or know of other C4 smaller window/door type sensor?  

How do I program shades by sunlight level in room.  I have seen this via photocell. I run Hunter Douglas PowerView integrated with C4.  I have it set for time of day, but in rainy or cloudy days, I don’t need to close them.  Idea?  Thanks and happy holidays! 

cant reach a remote C4 system via Composer HE.  I get through with credentials but it doesnt load program. Just not respond.   I understand C4 may be aware of a bug. its a core 5 i am trying to reach.  any hints on how to do this?   VPN?

yes i am inm US  thanks... i have llooked into this and the Intesis box as well... was curious if other lower cost fixes..

New apartment unit with Samsung VRF-S system.  5 indoor zones with wired controller therm at each.  I m looking at cool smart and intesis box.  No experience with either.  Any suggestions??? Many thanks. 

same issue.  i had this for years. just stopped linking a few days ago.  i just tried to enable it again after a few days of trying and it connected!!!  so give it a try 

I have tried deactivate to turn off the scene lights but not happening.  Do i need separate ON and OFF scenes?  Can I copy one scene and change lighting values?  Not clear what deactivate does.  Thanks 

Intermittent loss of direct tv control while other input devices like roku are fine.  IP based. Worked at set up. Multiple sets. 6 receivers. Genie box plus 3 mini genies plus two dvr boxes.  Can’t figure out.  Works fine some sets. Then no control others.  At various times.  No pattern.  Sometimes i lose control of the set off also….    Network stable.  Coax for tv and cat 6 for network. Address static.  Direct tv IR remote works.  Direct tv tech here, added some signal strength but unfamiliar with C4.  Expert Integrator checked and re checked.  We are mystified.  Each time I turn on set it’s a tossup. Ideas appreciated.  

Having similar problems. Using ip.  Intermittent control of direct tv.  The set and roku work fine.  It’s direct tv that I lose every other day.  We have tried several fixes. Network is good. Address is good. Just hit or miss. Often same day it changes.  Any help appreciated!  Thanks
