  1. Yea, I deserved that.  Before the firmware was updated the RK-1 worked fine and I had I made up my own ports.  I tried putting back the original and now nothing.  Does anyone know of any issues with Pakedge?

  3. If you don't care about controlling any A/V EQ you can do a CA-1.  Lutron Caseta (Pro Bridge) is 100% with C4.  I did it myself because you can adjust the schedules with the Lutron app. although Control4 release "Essential" lighting that is half the price and extends the ZigBee range.  You can add NYCE door/window contact sensors to any door that will allow text and email announcements an much more.  I have mine set up if the kids open certain doors during certain hours that I get a text, email and my speakers play a tornado waring sound along with lights flashing.

For the locations you can't run speaker wire you cam use the Triad One that connect Wi-Fi if need be.  I do suggest have your own router with Wi-Fi or your own wireless access points so they always see the same Wi-Fi.

All the streaming apps. you mention are native to Control4 but Spotify is a pain.  All should work fine as long as you do not use a Mesh Network.
