I have in my house an EA3 and an Episode 8 audio matrix amp. What is the best technique if I need bigger sound in a room? Let’s say that I have 4 8ohm speakers and the sound isn’t enough.

I need your help as usual!

How I will understand if i create by mistake an infinite loop in programming?

I m coming from KNX world where its easy to find your infinite loop (knx bus crashes and bus traffic going crazy).

If I create an experience button and at the programming set the following:

Button ON from Living > AC

#THE AC WILL TURN ON

> Close  Relay 1 on Rack->KNX Contact/Relay

That means that when the exp. button is pressed the 0/0/1 will be 1. AC is ON.

The problem is, if i will send from KNX bus the 0/0/1  to 1 the exp. button will not become ON (the symbol will not lit).

So if I create an other programming like:

When the Relay 1 is closed

>Set State to  On in Living->AC

It would be a disaster?

So the meaning of the question in general is, how to update the status of the icons at C4 from and to KNX bus without blowing up the EA controller.

Ok find it.

When AC is on

  if door A is open

    if door B is open

      if door C is open

        delay 3 seconds

        set AC is off.

I have a magnetic key card switch in my house (airBNB purpose), behind it there is a KNX digital input module that reads if the card is inserted or not.

If the card is inserted you can have access to the house (KNX based), if not everything is blocked.

I need your help choosing a fancy C4 icon and driver to see at 4sight or OSD if the card is in place or not (house occupied or not).

I have 1 nvr and 4 cams, the topology is, nvr to the network and cams to poe switch to the same network.

Nvr: DHI-NVR2108HS-4KS2

Cam: IPC-HFW2531S-S-S2

Cam: IPC-B1B20

Ok sorry for that.

As you can see in the picture I have 3 audio rooms. One stream from EA3 hdmi, two streams from analog EA3. So at the audio matrix i have 2 audio inputs spare.

I dont have a second EA3 to create 2 more audio rooms.

Is there any tweak how can we create audio room stream without EA?

I have an EA3 and an EA-RSP-8D-100.

I have 3 audio zones, 2 zones from EA3 coax and 1 zone from EA3 hdmi.

So there are 2 zones available at the RSP.

Is there any tweak on how we can use these zones as a room audio?  

Alanchow thenk you, I tried your code and it works but can you add some more lines in order to check first if the AC was ON and all the contacts are closed to turn on the AC?

How we can trick the EA3 digital audio out audio endpoint to be connected to episode matrix amp analog audio input?

I have a Digital to Analog Converter for this task.
