  1. Thanks for the reply guys. I'll try and get into contact with the previous owner and see what can be done.
  2. Hi everyone, apologies if this question has been asked multiple times but I am having a hard time figuring things out and need help from the experts here. I am unfortunately not very tech savvy so I apologise in advance for my newbie questions. We recently purchased a new place that had a home theatre added in 2019/2020. When we finally moved in, we noticed that the system controlling the home theatre is a C4 (which I have never heard of until now). The previous owner emailed us the other day saying that we need to contact the local dealer to have the 'home theatre account transferred to our name' and I called the number he gave me just now and was told it would cost $600 for someone to come in, check the equipment and have the account set up for us. I just want to make sure: Is this how it works normally? I feel that $600 is quite expensive for something like this....(but perhaps this is what it normally costs?) From the looks of it, the C4 this house has only controls the home theatre - lights/curtains/changing source inputs (foxtel/apple tv/blueray/bluetooth etc), it is not linked to the rest of the house (Which we don't mind, we actually prefer keeping it simple). Everything is working fine at the moment. Can someone please help me out with understanding what I should be doing? Many thanks in advance. P.S. I am based in Australia if that is something that can be of help.
