I have a home that will have a Control4 Chime at a front gate. I know that the Chime itself does not have the ability to trigger a door strike. But I do have a 16-2 homerun from that location. Can I run a door strike directly off of an EA-5 or do I need some type of controller for the door strike to work as a go between. I guess more specifically I know a strike needs to have a delay to stay open for a few seconds and I don't know if the EA-5 allows for that through the built in Relay connections.
