  1. Ok, it's working - I'll detail what I did for the next person who needs it because I'm not 100% what was the thing. I did what Topfox suggested here, in composer TV optical out to pathfinder to analog IN (to the port where it's actually coming from AVR zone 2 out). I also made programming that when the AVR turns on Zone 2 does as well. Finally, based on the recommendation of a Control4 tech, in Denon settings (general - zone 2) I changed the volume from VARIABLE to FIXED with a volume level at 90. Side note, I changed the Roku sound output back to auto (not stereo) and it still works.
  2. OK, so looking at this, you're telling Control4 that you have a TV to AMS physical connection, but you really have an AVR to AMS connection. You don't have Zone 2 out to AVR in composer but you do physically. And then zone 2 on the AVR is set to always on?
  3. So I should go TV optical out -> path setter -> triad ams (analog IN 1)? Don't I need the composer connection for zone 2 -> triad ams (analog IN 1)?
  4. Yes - that is what I'm trying to do. Can you tell me more about this: I have AVR zone 2 out to Triad Matrix analog in in connections. There's nothing from the TV to the matrix. Edit - also, when I go to share TV audio from the living room, no other room options are available if that helps.
  5. I'm struggling with something that I'm 90% sure I've made to work on another project. I have a Core3 controller, Denon AVR-X1700H, and a Triad AMS & AMP. I have a Roku Ultra behind the AVR where 100% of the TV video/audio is originating from. I want the Roku audio to be shareable to other rooms through the Triad Matrix. I have zone 2 stereo output (analog RCA) out to the Triad AMS (analog in) and made the connection in composer. I have the audio settings on the Roku set to stereo. I've completed the Denon setup process but nothing is zone 2 related. I've gone through the GUI and can't seem to find anything relevant. In Composer-Connections I do see a Room Control- Room Selection (audio volume and selection) for Zone2 Output that is unbound at this point but I don't believe I've ever messed with this before. Is this possible with the equipment I have?
