Tolga Tezcan
We have a yatch project. In the yatch, there was the Condaria Fan Coil Control System of Dometic Marine. Our customer wants to control their Condaria FanCoil system on their Control4 Yatch Automation System. I found an article from Control4 Press web page. The Link is http://www.control4.com/press_releases/archive/2009/10/29/control4-yachting. We want to learn, how to integrate Condaria with Control4. Thank you for your help.
thecodeman
There are a lot of different options but usually what we've done is integrate into the existing system via RS232 or ethernet. A quick google search resulted in this PDF http://www.dometic.com/QBankFiles3/EPiServer/Dometic/IE/Catalogs/Marine/2624-Dometic-Marine-Superyacht-Catalog-Web_13619.pdf Page 7 indicates that some of their controls have "Remote control via PC interface, ship-wide Modbus/TCP Ethernet protocol". The best thing to do is to find a third party developer to integrate this into control4, possibly via this houselogix driver or a full custom one.https://www.houselogix.com/shop/software-thermostat Each yacht is different. Good luck!
