C4 thermostat with underfloor heating

DBDigital

Question

We're integrating an underfloor heating system with C4 but in a large scale open plan home with minimal switches/ thermostats on show

The chosen thermostats will all be located in a plant room with remote, wired temperature sensors in each zone

We'd like to wire in a wall sensor for air temperature and also a wired floor sensor so we can accurately control the temperatures based upon air and floor temps.

I can tell this would be possible with the wireless C4 Aprilaire thermostat if we just wanted to wire in a wall sensor but am I correct in thinking we couldn't put 2 separate sensors in for our planned configuration?

We've found one or 2 alternative third party thermostats which could accept 2 sensors but they utilise MODBUS communication which looks like much more programming?

Anyone come across such a situation or have any suggestions?

Will MODBUS be a headache?!
