Wakewaterblue
So I have a somewhat outdated control 4 system. So much so the only thing left that I use are the lights. There are a couple of systems left in the racking but are switched off as we don’t use anything like the speakers etc. It’s probably about 10 years old and I don’t think it ever worked from new apart from the lighting So I’m sat here in the dark with all the 6 switch lights with green lights on but when I press nothing works. Weirdly only one area does have a working light and that is a singular switch. So whatever it is communicating with works there but I can’t see anything that is actually turned on in my control 4 racking. I have a 2 across and 3 down switch in each room. Any ideas? chopedogg88
those are keypads, not actual light switches. they communicate wirelessly to the Control4 controller in your rack or wherever it is. the one that is working is probably an actual dimmer or switch, which controls the light directly rather than through programming, that's why it still works. I would check to make sure your controller is up & running...perhaps it died, or maybe a power cycle (pull plug, then plug back in) is all that is needed to reset it.
