NextGenAV
Just been playing with IFTTT and Alexa today. Using Alan Chow's driver for pushover to C4. Works really well 'Alex trigger dining room radio' ... radio starts playing through NuVo system. I know this is old hat to US users, but I've got some very excited customers! Stuart England
Did you simply search Alexa for IFTTT skill? All I see is an unofficial IFTTT Maker Skill by Joseph Douce with bad reviews? how did you get IFTTT working on Alexa itself?
NextGenAV
You don't need to add a skill, just use IFTTT to link to your Alexa account and pushover for the C4 driver. I can explain more later once the beer has worn off.
NextGenAV
You will need an IFTTT account and a Pushover account (pushover needs a payment after 7 day trial) Steps: 1. Log in to IFTTT and link to your Amazon account 2. Create a Applet connecting IFTTT to Pushover 3. In C4 using Alan's IFTTT maker, enter your Pushover details 4. In programming execute an action corresponding to message Title and Message from Pushover 5. Have fun and play!
