groomden Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 might be too simple but have you tried just shutting the kindle down completely? i haven't had a problem with the MyHome app yet, but have had others where i had to actually power down the Fire. reeseski Posted February 17, 2012 Author Share Posted February 17, 2012 yeah... i tried that.. everything works fine as i use it . i can go to lighting and all works fine its when i try to go bact to the "4" screen or back arrow is when i have the problem. Please try again.Force closeany thoughts anyone?ok off the beating path ... helpproblem solved by amazonsee belowHello,I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused with the App"Control4 MyHome for Android ".The following troubleshooting steps should fix this issue: - Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner of your Kindle, and select "More" from the menu that appears. - From this menu, select "Applications", then select "All" from the drop-down at the top of the page. - Select "Appstore", then tap the "Clear Data" button, then tap "Ok" to confirm. - Select "Control4 MyHome for Android ", then tap the "Clear Data" button, then tap "Ok" to confirm. Once you clear the app data, please uninstall and install the app.- To uninstall the app press and hold the item and tap "Remove from Device" or "Delete."After uninstalling reset the device once,To perform a hard reset on your Kindle Fire, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and then release.
