jedi7001
OK, I set up my programming swhen I play a DVD on my Sony 777ES changer, the lights dim in my theater. However, when I put a new DVD into the changer and it scans the DVD to get online info for that DVD, it activates the play button and thus dims all my lights in my house. how do I get around this. Must be a common thing I would image.
slemay
Don't associate it to the "PLAY" button - associate it to things like the TV power coming on etc... as DVD's often call for the "PLAY" command during the playback - and the 777 being a two-way communication device - it'll send that "PLAY" command back to the Control4 system and it'll execute a command based on it. edgharmony
Correct me if I am wrong. You have set up play (dvd) to dim the lights when the play command is issuedI am assuming that you may have set up more than just the theater lighting to be dimmed and not just the theater lightingI don't think that rescanning for a dvd should be dimming all the lighting in the house. My programming is similar. when the dvd scans as I isert a new dvd or whatever. only my theater lights dim.
