Clem315 Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 A couple of weeks ago, half of my speakers quit working. It seems like the left speaker in every pair no longer turns on. No changes have been made to the system since the dealer installed it a year ago. Any ideas? I have 8 zones and they all have the same issue. CFUG Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 Last time that happened to me, I discovered someone (beloved dealer?) stepped on the cable bundle leading into the amp and then proceeded to yank in one direction all left channel plugs were undone- Ouch. Godzilla Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 happened to me on 1 zone..........was a shorted output on left channel only........i just switched to an unused zone.........might want to test and see if your amp took a crap.........no audio expert here, but might be worth ruling out.
