Experienced A/V and IT Position available in Southern CT

AVIT Technology is expanding and looking for dedicated professionals to fill 2 positions in Southern Connecticut. All applicants must:

• Exhibit true passion for customer service, putting the customer first and the industry second.

• Be clean cut, well-spoken and dressed (company shirts are provided)

• Like to play with new toys

Audio / Video / Automation Technician

• Experience with new construction and retrofit wire and component installs.

• Experience with system and remote programming required.

• Experience with Control4 is preferred. Other control system experience is also considered.

• Experience with networking and IT services is preferred (We do Small Business IT as well)

• Experience with our product lines is a plus: Control4, RTI, URC, Integra, Denon, Marantz, Sonance, Tru-Audio, SnapAV, Sonos, Axis, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Epson, Honeywell, GE, Viking, Synology, HDI Dune, etc.

IT Support Technician

• Must be familiar with networking and our products – Cisco, Dell, HP, Sonicwall, Ruckus Wireless

• Must be familiar with Windows and Mac

• Must be experienced with Servers, Desktop, Laptops, Printers, and Mobile devices.

Both positions can be full or part time, M-F 8am-5pm. Occasional work or availability may be needed afterhours or on Saturdays, but this is rare.

We have company vehicles but you may use your own at times, we will pay expenses.

Tools can be supplied but prefer you bring your own, salary will reflect this.
