msmorin
I'd like to integrate a ROKU box with my system...however, I have distributed video through a Sony Component Switcher and the ROKU only has an HDMI output. Has anyone done a similar integration? Thanks,

tebery
I just did this weekend! I got a Roku XDS off eBay for $45 and the component cable for $11 off eBay last week. My dealer installed it yesterday and it's working great!

C4Programmer
You can also look at HD Fury. Google it. It will take te hdmi and strip it to component video without hdcp. Done this with an appletv and another component video switch. Had to down convert to 720 as all the Tvs did not support 1080.
ichbinbose
I have used this on atv's and roku'shttp://www.amazon.com/HDMI-RCA-component-AV-Converter/dp/B002WBOQPU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341180703&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+to+component+converter
msmorin
I have used this on atv's and roku'shttp://www.amazon.com/HDMI-RCA-component-AV-Converter/dp/B002WBOQPU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341180703&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+to+component+converterI was looking at that but was skeptical because many of the reviews stated that it would work with some things but not with others. It looks like I'll give this a shot! Thanks for everyone's input!Mike
C4Programmer
Reading the reviews on the product (in the link above) is that it strips about 20 pixels off the left side... Hmmm....I would consider spending the extra $$ for the HD Fury line.I have used this on atv's and roku'shttp://www.amazon.com/HDMI-RCA-component-AV-Converter/dp/B002WBOQPU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341180703&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+to+component+converterI was looking at that but was skeptical because many of the reviews stated that it would work with some things but not with others.
