mcooperman
on a related note, I've obtained a .CML file for Nuvision Luciduim TVs, and a Windows program, CML2EFC, which generates 'extended function codes' from a .CML which, according to the code for the program, contains the raw hex IR codes in its internal structure.is there anything out there that can dump the IR hex codes from a .CML file?thx
AVHomeInstalls
NuVision TV model NVU47DCM (and probably others) are in the Logitech Harmony database. Why not get a low end Harmony remote, like the 650 or 700 and use the Logitech Harmony to learn the codes into your C4 controller (HC300).
mcooperman
Thank you.I will check that out. I've also found someone who may be able to read the IR codes out of the .CML file in raw hex, so one way or the other I think i'm in the home stretch... NkySpike65
Have you been to remotecentral.com yet to find it. That was always a good place to get help on ir codes. It's been years since I been on that site.
mcooperman
remote central did not have it although someone later posted info to the effect it was identical to a panasonic setup which they likely had there. However, a very helpful gentleman was able to read out the hex codes from a CML file I had found and provide them to me. so i did not need to go the panasonic route. Thanks all for your help.
