Vista20P & CBM432 10 Hours & Still NO Communication! HELP -

Recommended Posts

I have a new Honeywell Vista20P Rev 9.12 with CBM432 module. I have read everything I can find on these via google and c4 forums. What I have learned.

-Control4 Driver Documentation is WRONG. It calls for a straight cable and everything I have read says to use a NULL/Crossover Cable. I currently have Ground wired to pin5, RX wired to Pin3, & TX wired to Pin2

-Panel programming shows:

*91 Option Selection: 08 (Enable Exit delay restart/reset), 02 (Enable RIS)

*189 AUI Device Enable: 1, 1, 5 (Remote Services Partition 1), 5 (Remote Services Partition 1)

-All I get is a rapidly flashing LED on the CBM432 Module. Does not matter how many times I hit reconnect.

What I am not sure of.

-How do I setup the ECP address for 1st VIRTUAL Keypad on the Honeywell Panel? Was not sure how to set it to 1,2,3,4 or 5..

Any help would be great I am out of ideas. Thank you very much!

Honeywell 4232CBM Settings

1. Program Panel *91 02 (none, RIS enabled)

2. Program Panel *189 5000 (AUI 1 5 = part. 1 (auto-stay arm disabled))

3. Wire TX from C4 to RX on 4232CBM RX to TX

5. Reboot CBM (unplug 4 pin connector, reconnect)

6. Reconnect C4 Panel through virtual keypad
