Garp
So the luddite has moved from controlling his greenhouses, sprinklers, gate and dog kennel and bought 4sight. I mean to use it for emailing alerts, like a mini security system. Aside from that, can I also remotely check on my system with a web browser somehow? thecodeman
Yes - login to my.control4.com and click "web navigator". There's a flash version if you're on 2.0 or later and an HTML version too.
Garp
Thanks! I was able to set up a faux alarm system using my dimmer taps to arm/disarm and show the alarm status with the LEDs. I'm sure this is pretty much bread-and-butter stuff for most people but it's fun to start new things with my system.
Garp
So I decided to flash the lights on and off in our living room once I got to work, to mess with my wife. I didn't hear anything so I asked her at lunch if she liked the flashing lights. She said she got up late and didn't notice, but it certainly explained why our son ran into her room waking her, screaming about how he can turn the lights on and off with his mind.
