dmccor1
I have a question to all you Dealers and or installers out there. I have a Mitsubishi Model L65-A90 Lasevue TV. In the Manual, it has a Connection for IR Net Command to control other devices via IR output. It specifically states in the manual that you can go into the Installer Menu and toggle this connection to receive a Wired IR input from a controller. For example a HC250 wired IR straight in to the TV. Have any of you here on this Forum done this and was successful. Or better yet, can I just use a flasher from the controller. I have just always heard that DLP’s have had a history when it comes to IR flashing. thanksdmccor1
ichbinbose
I can have only done one Mits DLP in the last 2 years and I opened the TV up and placed the IR flasher directly on the IR receiver inside the TV
dmccor1
thanks for your reply. I hope I don't have to do that.
C4Programmer
Opening up the the BIG DLP is easier than it sounds and makes the install look much better. Many of them have small access ports on the back sides and makes it easy.
dmccor1
Sounds good. I have attached a snap shot of my manual. I'm hoping that item 11 will just let me hook a Mono Cable and be good to go.

msgreenf
It wouldn't be a mono cable. It would be a 1/8 stereo male to male
