Intellisol
Hi AllLooking for some help in selecting the correct type of relay for a project.Have a fan that has normal speed and boost speed. The fan runs on 3a 240v (UK based). So I'm looking for a relay that when power is sent to the fan it will run at normal speed but when I select a custom button in control4 for boost C4 will send 24v from the controller relay down to the relay which will switch off the normal speed and switch on the boost. As soon as C4 stops sending a signal then it will return to normal speed.I don't really want the relay to be on a pulse as I wouldn't want the fan to be stuck in boost if C4 goes down.Any suggestions on this would be great as there are just far too many combinations to choose from. Thanks
CFUG
Would be really surprised if Crydom didn't have what you need...
Intellisol
It's knowing which one will do the job of switching between both speeds but always returning to normal speed as default or when the 12v isn't supplied
CFUG
^Not that difficult. Most relays can be ordered NO or NC. If single position, just order NO. You spec input/output V and I and I'll give you a P/N.
