stationkeeper
I am trying to schedule outdoor lights on and off at sunrise and sunset.I have created the event and created the scene that goes with it.When i go to programming and select the scheduled event, the script appears in the middle pane as it should. But when i go to the action pane and select the lighting scene i created (it is there) it does not populate the lower part of the pane for me to activate.Any ideas? stationkeeper
No arrow appears.I click the scene under actions, it lights up in blue, then nothing populates in the lower pane.
Cyknight
Assuming this is an advanced lighting scene (you should be using those) - once you select the scene you still need to select activate or deactivate as it needs to know what exactly you want to do (in your scenario it would be activate)
stationkeeper
Where is the activate button?
stationkeeper
I found the activate button......I clicked it and tried again.Still nothing. The conditionals tab I think sees it but not the commands
Cyknight
Once activate is selected, the green arrow should show up. If it really isn't - there's something wrong - likely with your Composer install.
Cyknight
And this is all under the programming tab - right hand side. Select "advanced lighitng scenes" under actions, and in the window underneath you should see a drop-down option to select the scene you want, then have the ability to sleect the Activate or Deactivate
stationkeeper
I appreciate the help but it is just not there.I have no trouble creating regular scenes that are manually initiated.....In the action pane, all of my scenes have the word "length" at the end. Is that significant?
Cyknight
Yes. You need to select the HEADER Advanced Lighting scenes. NOT the break-out of the induvidual lighting scenes picture: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7tbupwes9yhgize/advanced%20scene%20programming.jpg?dl=
