bromney Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Can anyone shed light on how to reactivate 2 of my 3 dimmer switches that appear disconnected from 3 way functionality? The parent switch to my room is fully functional, but the other two switches appear dead. I was successful in rebooting both devices (15 up) to reset both but they still don't function. I checked wiring and both look great. The lower LED light stays lit on both. Any advice on how to reset or reprogram to restore connectivity would be greatly appreciated. mstafford388 Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Your "parent" switch is the one that is the dimmer and is controlling the load. Unless you have the new generation lighting the other one is actually a keypad of some sort. If it looks like a regular switch it is a 2 button keypad. That needs to be added to your project and programmed as a 3 way. The new generation lighting has auxiliary keypads for 3 ways and don't require any programming to function.
