AV1300 IP Camera Driver

Lightspeed

Question

Hello.

I am in need of drivers for my IP cameras.

I am using Arecont Vision AV1300 1.3 MP Cameras.

I have tried every camera listed in composer.

The cameras must connect using 192.168.0.X/livevideo.html -- just typing the ip address without the page will give the diagnostic page of the camera (no video).

I have also tried pulling a JPG image using 192.168.0.X/img.jpg. this didn't work either

According to the manufacturer, the cameras can use ports 80, 69, and 8080.

Has anyone had any luck installing cameras NOT on the drivers list in Composer?

Thanks!!!

RyanE,

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, the system won't pull an image directly from the cameras. No video. No stills. However, I can copy a still onto a remote server and pull it off with the C4 system.

It's just some weird communication issue between the 2 technologies.

I tried several different drivers to no avail. Oh well.

Hi,

I had similar problem with Airlink IP camera (AICP310). I called customer support and get access to an engineer, who gave me the URL to get the JPG still image.

I then edited one of the panasonic driver to create Airlink driver.

You can see my post http://www.c4dealers.com/viewtopic.php?id=1874 for more details.

Btw, as one of the member replied to my post, you can either use Wireshark or URLSnooper to capture/detect the URL datastream while accessing the camera in the browser with the simple IP.

Hope this helps.
