tomulsas Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 I'm experiencing lighting issues with our C4 system that was installed 3 years ago. Any thoughts/advice appreciated. 1. one of our light switches no longer turns the light fixture on and off. the light fixture remains on 100% of the time. 2. Another lighting zone operates normally from the the switch (lights turn on and off), but the lighting functions don't work from the 2 button keypad that is lynced to the switch. Nor does the lighting operation work from another 3 button keypad that is also lynced to the same switch. However, there are other lighting zone functions on the 3 button keypad, and they all work fine. No programming changes have been made to the system in over 2 1/2 years. Thanks for any insight. RyanE Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Is your defective switch in #1 a dimmer or a switch? If it's a switch, what kind of load is it controlling? It's not uncommon for the relay in switches to fuse if you're controlling a load with a lot of inrush current, like a lot of fluorescents. In #2, can the switch be operated through the Control4 UI? i.e. can you turn it on / off with the remote or with a touchscreen / iOS / Android device?
