FOX8868
Hi, I'm getting some static on my digital audio playback from my media controller. I've isolated it to the controller itself. Odd thing is, if the CPU is doing some other large-ish type task, the static goes away and then returns shortly after the task has been completed. I had thought maybe some of the pre-amp circuitry might be going bad but can't explain the absence of the static under CPU load.Thoughts?
K&J
How are you measuring when the load is on or off?
FOX8868
The load I'm using is a script for setting various values for a number of my thermostats. Or a script to turn everything off in the house (about 100 dimmers, all the rooms, etc.).The static is an intermittent non-patterned crackle. Not very loud, but noticible through the music.
