JDouble
Hey everyone, I have a HC 250, running 2.5.3, I am trying to update it to 2.7.1, but after every attempt its telling me I need to update via usb, and that theres not enough room on the controller to complete the update. I have tried "reseating" the sd card inside the controller, I even bought a brand new 16 gb card and its still telling me the same thing. Anyone ever had this happen? I have updated dozens of 250s and Ive never seen this before.
Matt
I wouldn't recommend placing a new SD card in. Please go back to the original SD card and try to do a factory restore and then perform the upgrade. Matt
JDouble
I did that twice before Control4 support told me they would send me a new sd card. I told them i would just go buy one, he said no problem as long as it was at least 8 gb. Not difficult to change it out, although it didnt help. The real question is, it says to update via USB. I am not at all familiar with this method, anybody have any tips?
Matt
You can find information on the USB method by logging into your dealer account and going to > http://dealer.control4.com/dealer/support/software-updates > 'USB Installer' Matt
JDouble
Thanks Matt, I would have never found that. But, that didn't work either, setup the thumb, plugged it into the controller, same message. Frustrating.
