atldunns Posted December 4, 2015 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Anyone aware of any progress in integrating with the new communicating thermostats (Trane, Carrier, etc)? I am looking at upgrading my HVAC and like the new variable speed / communicant systems but really want to integrate. I understand Carrier can be integrated through their SAM but I'm not aware how well this works. Any knowledge , updates, or suggestions? I currently utilize the old C4 stats and enjoy the benefits of control through C4 for this and do not want to give that up... Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cyknight Posted December 4, 2015 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Trane is mostly (meaning you'll have to put a differnt board in and use other supported thermostats) blocked off from any outside access - SAM works well assuming it's compatible but it has a limited compatibility and can be costly.
