sooner2k1
After a recent system and driver update (C4 to 2.9.0 plus other driver updates), something has broken with the MyMovies HTPC driver. Previously I could launch movies from the Movies launcher on my remote, but now every time I attempt to launch a movie I get the following message in Composer for the Driver Information field: "Can only play movies from a My Movies database". Normally the driver field said MyMovies found or something similar. I know i've got good API match in both the HTPC and collection management driver, and the MyMovies launcher on the remote definitely sees all the movies, because it makes them available for launch. I can't find any documentation online on what might be causing the driver error, but I've dug and dug to trouble shoot. Uninstalled, cleaned, and re-installed mymovies server on the HTPC, refreshed and rebuilt databases. All sorts of steps. Few notes: The HTPC driver works correctly controlling WMC from my remotes. The movies appear to populate correctly. Nothing about movie location has changed (on NAS). Any thoughts or suggestions are appeciated. Or if there is a remote dealer that is familiar with the MyMovies drivers i'd be interested in talking.
