I am considering to buy a Yale smart home alarm + smart lock. I know it is not the top its class when it comes to security, but i already have outdoor wired CCTV with NVR integrated in C4 and would like a totally wireless option for indoor
A few questions:
1) does it integrate well? I assume I will be able to have it interact with other parts of the system (ie on/off from smart buttons, selective on for ground floor only from smart buttons, audio feedback from sonos speakers when changing state, etc)? Can it be controlled from the app through custom buttons or it will need to be from the interface on the TV?
2) apparently the smart lock can only have one network chip, either zigbee to a smarhome hub or a different component to link to Yale hub and be controlled via smartphone. Assuming i have the Yale hub integrated into C4, I assume i should go for zigbee? Or is it indifferent?
