fillame Posted October 31, 2016 Share Posted October 31, 2016 Hi guys, I have an old HC-200 installed in a small bedroom (no navigator running). Its running 2.5.x. We finally decided to update it to 2.9.x, but got the following error: "Limited primary controller found in project. You must replace primary controller before updating" - See Screenshot Is the HC200 not supported anymore? Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks! I say that because it's the newest "low end" option, that will have the longest support life as director. You can do it with a 250 or an 800 also, but likely sometime soon (maybe 3.0) they won't be able to run Director anymore. So if you want a more long term path, EA3. If you want the lowest cost option knowing you are likely to have to replace it in the next year to 2 years if you want it to run director, a 250 or 800.
