akg4y
Does anyone have a good solution for a front door camera + two-way intercom system for the front door? What wiring would need to be in place in order to transmit the audio from the front door to the whole house audio system? Id like to have the intercom in the door play over the whole house audio speakers in 3 zones. I cant find any cameras that have built in microphones AND speakers, although there are plenty with microphones. Thanks
jdr1000
Try Mobotix. They are on the expensive side but are probably one of the best brands out there. Each camera has built in microphone and speaker and you can program them as an IP phone. Also, all cameras accept PoE. so no electrical wiring needed.J
akg4y
Thanks.. Ive actually decided to just go with a Panasonic BB-HCM531A. It has a built in mic but no speaker, but I just realized I can run a speaker wire as a separate audio zone to the front door and use that instead...
