DENON 3808ci (SERIAL DRIVER)

Hi all,

I have a Denon 3808Ci and I want to know what is the layout I have to use on the serial cable in order to have the receiver controlled by my HC300 thought serial cable.

most likely it's pins 2, 3, & 5. does it say anything in your manual about it? Sometimes they do.

Not on denon manula, but on their website they do.

I've bought a cabe that has all the pins connected (pin 1 wth pin1, pin 2 with pin 2, and so on) but it is not working.

Thats why i'm asking. If i know what it is on DENON, how do i found what is it on the HC 300

I've seen it here before that the HC 300 is the same, 2 3 5 (tx rx and gnd). When I worked for an a/v company building rs232 cables for AMX gear, we used the same pinouts.

so,

if they are the same, i have to connect the rx of HC300 to the tx of DENON, tx of denon to rx on HC 300 and gnd-gnd?

So ee get to 2-3,3-2,5-5?
