IP Camera Driver with MJPEG through RTSP

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I have an exotic camera Uniview IPC814SR-DVPF16 and I need to create ip camera driver for it. There is no problem with receiving of snapshot:
http://camera-ip/images/snapshot.jpg

and h264 video:

rtsp://camera-ip/images/media/video1

But mjpeg stream has url:

rtsp://camera-ip/images/media/video2

and there is no way to set in the driver that it need to use rtsp protocol for mjpeg stream instead http.

Can anybody to propose the decisions with this problem?

There is no way to do that.  And you don't really need MJPEG (well it depends on where you want to see the image).

If you are Using T3 and EA on screen navigators + Mobile app you don't need MJPEG.  You only need MJPEG for touchscreens older then T3 and HC on screen navigators.
