jgressingh
I bought a replacement RCZ-SRC2-B remote controller to replace the original one which was dropped and went dead. I use the Control4 C4-HC300-E-B to control our home theater. The original Control4 system was installed and set up by a qualified technician in Sept 2007. For some reason, the home theater components (i.e., DirecTV satellite receiver/DVR, Pioneer plasma monitor, Dolby receiver and DVD player) will not respond to the new remote controller. I cannot find anything in the users manual or installation instructions to help me solve this problem. I would appreciate any help/advise in getting the new remote controller to work with my Control4 and home theater.
Tim
Your dealer will need to add the new remote to the project. It will need to be identified and configured. Every Control4 device - dimmers, switches, keypads, remotes, etc. - have individual network assignments and when something is added or replaced, the project has to be updated.
