jjackson Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 My dealer installed my Home computer onto my C4 system so that I can use it as a storage device for my music. We got it set up and all seemed to be working fine until the next morning when I tried to access my music and it wasn't showing on my remotes or touch screens. I restarted my computer and reset the touch screens once I did the music worked for about 30 minutes and then it went out again. Can anyone tell me what my problem is? Does it have anything to do with my computer settings as far as my power settings on my computer? I have my power settings set so other computers can always access my music but for some reason C4 is having trouble being able to get to my music after about 30 minutes. RyanE Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Does your computer have settings that put it in a power saving mode?It's possible that it's shutting down, and expecting a client to wake it up before requesting data from it, something along those lines.I would turn off all power saving settings other than shutting down the monitor on any computer you're using as a music server / NAS.RyanE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
