dcruff
I just installed an EVA 9150 and the C4 remote was working fine. After the installer made some programming changes to my system, I can no longer manage my 9150 using the C4 remote. The 9150's IR remote works just fine. The C4 remote is supposed to control the 9150 through the network connection. The 9150 is still connected to the network, but there is no response using the C4 remote. Is there some setting in either the 9150 or C4 Composer that will tell the 9150 how it should receive its commands?
thecodeman
Have your dealer check the IP address of the 9150. If it's changed, that will not allow you to control the unit. Make sure the 9150 is on a static ip address.
dcruff
Thanks for the response - you nailed it! I couldn't get any response from my Dealer. I checked the 9150 and found that it was set for a dymanic IP address. I went into Composer and saw that the IP address listed for the Netgear was static. I changed the Netgear to the same address set in Composer, and, voila - fixed. Thanks again.Dave
