KWD
Had one installed about six months ago, works flawlessly and communicates via SDDP. Don't hear about them being used much here, just throwing it out as another option, that as far as I can tell integrates nicely.
penn65000
We had DMP and was a disaster. They don’t play well w C4 and their wireless devices have poor battery life. They also push updates to the panel which causes issues. Awful company too. They wouldn’t stand by their (lousy) products. Imo their focus on two-way communication with wireless devices kills their batteries much earlier than would be the case with Honeywell and DSC. Good luck. 17 hours ago, KWD said: Had one installed about six months ago, works flawlessly and communicates via SDDP. I'm guessing you must have had an older panel, the new ones were made to work directly with C4, zero issues here so far. Everything in the house is hardwired so I don't have any wireless, might add some though. Hopefully they have worked out battery life. Threw out all their hardware when they wouldn’t buy it back. Horrendous company.

Sounds like the company that installed it should have fixed the problem for you.

You’ll hear “this is the only case we’ve seen” (lie) then “this was a bad batch of batteries” and “the new firmware will fix this.” Just wait. Honeywell is rock solid. So... really it's up to you.
